Dear Cobra Family,

During this hardship we need to lean on each other for support. This pandemic has drastically affected everyone this school year. We’re all dealing with the stress of having to adjust to online school, missing our friends and seniors feeling down from having to miss out on everything they have worked so hard for. I’m saying this to let you all know that you’re not alone. We might all be separated at this time but we’re still a community and we need to do everything we can to help one another.

Today, I’m going to do my part in helping my fellow classmates by offering some tips on how to manage your time. I don’t know about you all, but procrastination is my biggest struggle. Being quarantined and having all this time on my hands has me thinking that it’s better to get things done beforehand rather than wait until the last minute. My way of letting go of that bad habit is by practicing time management. Having to work on all seven classes every day was very overwhelming for me, so I did some research and found a way to manage. It’s pretty easy, all I did was make a do to list and set reminders. Just follow the steps below and you should see a change in how efficiently you can now complete your assignments.

Step 1: Log in to canvas

Step 2: Check all classes for assignments

Step 3: Make a list of all assignments.

Step 4: Organize! Each assignment should have a due date. At the top of your to-do list should be the assignments that are due first.

Step 5: Set reminders a day or two in advance. That way you will not forget.

Step 6: If you have multiple assignments due on the same date, start with the ones you know will take the most amount of time.

Step 7: Check of each assignment after completing it.

I hope this helped you all. I

t might not work for everyone but you can always look for something that’s more suitable for you.
